I would like to get Acme supermarkets to stop using unsustainable palm oil practices. This is clearly not impossible as Whole foods and Stop n Shop have already done it. Unsustainable palm oil practices are bad for three main reasons. The first is that they threaten endangered species such as orangutans through deforestation. Another is that they cut down trees which have CO2 in it, warming the climate. The third reason is that they are causing the deforestation which can cause droughts. Please sign this petition in order to stop this unsustainable practice, and get Acme to get palm oil from sustainable sources like palm-oil farms.
