THE DOGS AT ACCT PHILLY NEED MORE HELP THAN EVER !!!!

Acct has decided not to allow volunteers on the premises to exercise and promote the dogs!  The budget has already been cut along with the staff...meaning that without the help of volunteers, the dogs will sadly suffer and be stuck in their cages for days on end without being able to get out. 

The goal of the shelter should be the well being of the dogs....and working with them as much as possible, keeping them socialized, exercised and for some, keeping them potty trained so they can be adopted and find their forever home! 

By not allowing the volunteers to assist with the dogs, ACCT is potentially sealing their fate...causing additional behavior and stress issues, and setting a timer on their lives. This is not fair to them and we need to be their voice. 

ACCT leadership - we urge you to allow volunteers on the premises to work with the animals. There have been no health threats up until this point, and there should be no reason deny them now.  People have managed to work safely through Covid safety measures, and if individuals can shop indoors, go to work, attend functions, etc., all the while wearing their mask and staying safe, there is no reason the same cannot be acheived at ACCT. 

Please do not deny these animals a 2nd chance! They have already suffered enough and deserve every opportunity to thrive. They need everyone's help more than ever.
