Hello - as you are no doubt aware United Airlines, especially CEO Scott Kirby, continue to remain silent on accessibility.
However, that does not mean we must follow suit. We must keep pushing for accessibility and holding the airlines and aircraft manufacturers accountable, by making as much noise as possible.
As you know, there is a part B to our petition campaign - https://chng.it/DpdHd7VMRZ - if you haven’t signed it yet, please do so and distribute it to your contacts.
In the meantime, please find below my latest communication to Scott Kirby.
Regards
Pekka Paavonpera.
Dear Scott,
As you are aware, I have been advocating for air travel accessibility for some time now, with an emphasis on United Airlines to take the lead, not because your airline is any worse or better accessibility wise, but because you refuse to publicly address the matter.
As you can see from my latest LinkedIn post (link below) I am asking you again to please address the issue publicly, especially in light of continued publicity on United’s replacement fleet.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
