When I was 11, I lost my grandfather to heart disease. That loss showed me how much access to basic health resources matters, and it's stayed with me ever since.

Too many families in Cypress and Houston don't have bandages, antiseptic wipes, or gloves at home. Not because they don't care, but because a first-aid kit at retail costs $25 to $50, and for households already stretched thin, that's just not happening. At the same time, local stores and clinics regularly throw out surplus supplies that are still perfectly safe to use.

I started AccessAid to be the bridge between those two realities. We collect surplus supplies, assemble them into kits, and get them to families who need them. We've already collected over 17,000 supplies and distributed 6000, and we're just getting started.
