Dear Fellow Sunriver Owner,
Attached are the first page of a derivative and direct Complaint to be filed in Deschutes County Circuit Court, along with the Table of Contents, Exhibits list, and a sample Affidavit of Consent, to be filed by 21 or more members.
This action is brought on behalf of SROA (derivative claims (ORS 60.261)) and individually by me (direct claims). The Table of Contents and Exhibits list outline the scope of claims.
To participate as a co-plaintiff (John Doe):
- You must be a dues-paying SROA homeowner.
- Preference is given to owners prior to SHARC construction, former board members, or attorneys (active or retired), but this is not required.
- If you are frustrated by golf facility closures, unequal access, or lack of transparency — you are likely affected.
Legal Fees: Absorbed by lead Plaintiff Persida Myers.
If you retain your own attorney, you are responsible for those costs.
Privacy: Your affidavit will be sealed and filed confidentially with the court.
Only the court and Plaintiff Myers will know your identity.

2. Complete page 2 of the Affidavit with your name, property address, membership date, and signature.
3. Have it notarized (online notaries are available also).
