Thank you UNICEF for conducting this social experiment demonstrating the harsh reality of how children (and adults) are treated differently based on their appearance ... clean clothing vs unclean clothing. This not only highlights how people in the world treat each other differently, but plainly shows the emotional and psychological damage caused to self worth as a result of even a brief moment of this type of treatment.
FreeLaundryAccess.com appreciates the support of the many signatories to our petition, and those who have donated in support of our Free Laundry Access program (the only registered charity providing access to clean laundry in Canada). With the current economic situation and the new tariff challenges with Canada's largest trading partner, there has been even more use and need for our program.
Please share/support this petition so that we may prove the need to Federal, Provincial, and Municipal governments to expand our program to deliver hope and dignity to the "real life" Anano's in Canada and beyond. @UNICEF leadership for change is much appreciated.
