Over the winter months, Free Laundry Access has not only added many additional Canadians, who are struggling to make ends meet, into our program, but there has been significant outreach by governmental officials and staff in MP and MPP offices inquiring about our program, how it works, who we help, and what we need to grow across Canada. Additionally, social services organizations in Calgary and Edmonton have been asking when we could open our program to their cities. Late last year we spoke to Edmonton Community Fund officials to explain how we could help however the funding model used in their program was focused on infrastructure and direct employment.

Free Laundry Access partners with local attended laundromat owners to deliver our program in a lean way so that as much money as possible can be used to help people in need. The more signatures of support and the more attention we can raise will make it impossible for large city governments, and funders to ignore the desperate need. Help us reach over 7000 so that we can go back to these officials with irrefutable evidence that Canadians are struggling with this basic need. Lend a hand and wash it forward.

Have a happy and blessed Sunday!!

Sunlight Canada has been a fantastic sponsor, and their Canadian Made laundry detergents are used exclusively in our program. Additionally, the funding they have provided has opened up enough capacity to add even more participants to our 4 existing locations (2 in Toronto - East and West, 1 in Hamilton, and one in Vancouver), so please share our website (www.freelaundryaccess.com with anyone in those cities who needs help.
