I believe it’s time for Britain to move beyond the monarchy and become a republic.

In my view, no family should hold a privileged constitutional position simply because of birth. Public institutions should be built on equality, accountability, and democratic principles.

Over the years, controversies surrounding members of the Royal Family have caused many people to question whether the monarchy still serves the public interest. I believe these issues have damaged public trust and strengthened the case for constitutional reform.
