I come before you as a concerned citizen, deeply distressed by the drastic actions of the Trump administration which is posing a serious threat to our democracy and way of life. Over the course of the past few years, there has been consistent detriment caused by this administration to our lives and the people have the right and duty to alter or abolish their destructive government. They work for the people not the other way around. 

The actions of this administration extend beyond national borders, damaging the reputation of the United States on the international platform. Their acts have crossed constitutional boundaries, escalating the risk to our safety and health. 

It is paramount that we act now, and put an end to the degradation of the values and principles that our nation holds dear. We need to abolish the current administration and institute a new one that truly upholds the principles of which this democracy was born. By signing this petition, the people can unite the masses and get us all in the same page.  Act now, sign this petition – let our collective voices echo the need for a brighter future. If the people turn towards their 1st founding document it clearly states that the people have the right and is their duty to throw off their destructive government and institute a new one. If you have concerns about the declaration of independence not being a legally recognized document and is worthless just consider that when the founders  wrote it and acted on it it wasn't a legal document then either, so that issue is moot.
