Fight Against Inconvenience and Unfair Fees!

Many people in our community are frustrated by the decision of the Liberal Democrats/Labour coalition, who runs the council, and are introducing a booking system for all Household Recycling Centres across the county.

Residents of Powys oppose the newly introduced booking system, which comes into effect from March 25 for residents to book their first time slot. This will be followed on April 1, 2025, by extra charges for using the Household Recycling Centres for disposing of DIY waste, charges will be varied depending on the material.

These changes will create unnecessary hassle and financial burdens for thousands of residents. The booking system and fees are not only inconvenient but also unfair. Join us in demanding Powys County Council scrap this system and ensure easy and cost-free access to our recycling centres.
