We have one a small skirmish as the main battle lies in front of us. Our Tory Antagonists’ are a small group within the NJSBA Family Law Section Leaders/members who are trying to prevent legislation to form the “Blue Ribbon Commission Bill to Study Alimony Reform” by extortive proxy. They have hired Lobbyist and PR firms to try and convince the NJ Legislators that the Blue Ribbon Commission Bill would not be in the best interest of women, this is purely scare tactics by the bar. Their clear motive is obvious, it’s all about their pocket book. They don’t really care about the best interest of their clients; no they care about how much wealth transfer occurs from us to them in a divorce matter. Sham on them. My grandfather practiced Law 50 years ago and was an honorable man and I feel he would roll over in his grave if he saw how these Family Law Section Leaders are operating today.
