Abolish ICE Now!

Abolish ICE Now!
The Issue
Renee Nicole Good was a 37-year-old U.S. citizen, a mother, a Minneapolis resident — and she is dead after being shot by an ICE agent during a federal immigration operation.
She was not the target of the operation. She was not accused of a crime. Yet she was killed by an agency that has become increasingly militarized, unaccountable, and dangerous to the very communities it claims to protect.
In the hours after Renee’s death, the Trump administration rushed to justify the killing — labeling her a “violent rioter,” accusing her of “domestic terrorism,” and blaming her for her own death. Local officials who reviewed video evidence flatly rejected those claims.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz warned the public not to believe what he called a “propaganda machine.” Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey called ICE’s account “bulls---.”
Eyewitnesses say Renee posed no imminent threat and that lifesaving aid was delayed as she lay dying.
This tragedy is not an isolated incident. ICE has repeatedly shown itself to be an agency that operates with secrecy, aggression, and impunity — tearing families apart, terrorizing neighborhoods, and now killing American citizens.
An agency that can kill a U.S. citizen in broad daylight, smear her name afterward, and face no immediate accountability is an agency that should not exist.
We are calling for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the immediate end to its armed operations in American cities.
Immigration enforcement must be handled through humane, civilian-led processes — not military-style raids carried out by heavily armed agents with little oversight.
We also demand:
- An independent investigation into the killing of Renee Nicole Good
Immediate suspension of the agent involved - Full public release of all video and body camera footage
- An end to federal immigration raids in Minneapolis and other cities.
Renee Good’s life mattered. Her death was preventable. And justice means more than statements and excuses — it means structural change.
Sign this petition to demand justice for Renee Nicole Good and to say clearly: Abolish ICE now.
