Let’s bring this state into unity with the other states such as Tasmania and elevate this to the federal law.

This practice is being funded by several incompetent institutions and this funding should be made illegal and all transactions related to Conversion Therapy should be frozen and recouped by the government to support services, this malpractice is dubious and relies on a limited antiquated understanding of modern science in several fields such as neuroscience, anthropology, and advanced biology which acknowledges genetic drift and gender and sexuality as a spectrum such as experts in the field like Professor Robert Sapolsky and Agustín Fuentes

The existence of this malpractice not only fails to reflect our current comprehension of these topics but also hinders the progress and acceptance of LGBTQIA+ people in Western Australia.

Roger Cook is minister of Mental Health and oversees legislation and documents responsible for this psychologically harmful malpractice  please sign my petition and ban this unnecessary barrier for the LGBTQIA+ community.

The law enforcement agencies are here to protect extremism and should look to the successful model in Tasmania.

By imposing fines or penalties the government can collect money and ban all those responsible for practicing this in Australia and use it to improve our police force or other security services. 

This document is crucial not just procedurally, but for the mental well-being of those who, like myself, are part of the community. It affirms our identity and existence, allowing us to live without fear or barriers imposed by the lack virtuous laws and reason.

Our state, our country, must not forget virtue, in favor of procedural laws, or the lack of reasonable ones that target minorities, doing so risks complacency and collapse of our country as a whole. 

Premier Roger Cook, during his election campaign, promised to advance transgender rights. He held his word, he dismantled the Gender Recognition Board. The commitment to progress, diversity, equity and inclusion must be translated into action, reinforcing our community's place within society.

I urge you to join me in demanding that Premier Roger Cook uphold his promise to make our state more inclusive.
