Abolish bathroom passes at Glenbrook South High School

Abolish bathroom passes at Glenbrook South High School
The Issue
In Glenbrook South, bathroom passes are mandatory to walk around the building. This is done for supposed "safety", but it presents certain issues that are not accounted for. For starters, bathroom passes possess the room number of origin, and if security see that you are too far from your class they will escort you out, even if you are out for reasons other than a bathroom break. Secondly, classrooms are only assigned 2 bathroom passes, which is at times inadequate. At the end of the day, bathroom passes are unnecessary and cause friction for students, and we don't need a tag on us to keep us safe. We are not toddlers, we can take care of ourselves, and if this is intended to be a measure to keep people in class then kids are just gonna get around it by putting the pass in their pockets and pretending they have a free period. Bathroom passes add zero value to the school and frustrate everyone involved.
