We, the undersigned, are writing to express our opposition to the Ogun Dog Torture and KILLINGS where countless Dogs Animals are brutally slaughtered every year in the name of so called tradition CRUELTY IS NOT CULTURE , and like most BARBARIC outdated practices in history it should be ABOLISHED.Each July three days of brutal killings of innocent Dogs  Where Dog still alive ARE TORN IN HALF, FROM LIMB TO LIMB and other animals sacrificed. This is horrifically barbaric and inhumane.

As animal lovers and advocates for Animal Protection and  Animal Rights , we urge you to take action to Stop and Abolish this cruel and unnecessary practice.

This does not only causes immense suffering to these animals, but it also poses a risk to public health and tarnishes the image of Nigeria on the global stage.

There is no place for animals cruelty in the 21st century. #CrueltyFreeNigeria #CrueltyfreeTourism

We also respectfully ask that the President of Nigeria:

- Implement existing laws against animal cruelty, maltreatment and neglect.

- Provide funding for trap, neuter and release programs to prevent street dogs and cats from breeding.

- All dogs and cats to be vaccinated against rabies.

- Ban dog and cat meat in Nigeria and shut the trade down.
