Just a quick update to let you know that all your hard campaigning has paid off.

The Abbey Cinema will open in the Abbey Hall within the Guildhall Complex on 21st December, kicking off with Mary Poppins Returns. Ian and Sue Wiper, who run the Regal in Evesham and have been running the cinema at the Unicorn Theatre, have taken on running the Guildhall on behalf of the Town Council. The main Abbey Hall is now fitted out with the latest projection and audio equipment, really comfortable seating and there is a full food and drink service. It should be a great addition to the town centre and it will be wonderful to finally see this community asset open to the public again after such a long hiatus.
