28.9.14 just back from our second 4 hour family time visit at Brighton. Today we had a lovely picnic on Brighton beach, followed by a walk with Jonjo, and then we visited Sports Direct as Claire needed new trainers. She went in with Mark and Andrew while Nicola and I waited outside with the dog. No problems at all. She had made lots of cards again, but was disappointed to have to go back when we were coming home. We have had 2 phone calls since leaving her. Last Sunday 21.9.14 we had a picnic in the park, played with Jonjo, walked into the town centre, she treated us to a cup of coffee in cafe Nero, and again no problems at all. We have lovely times with her, but honestly can't understand why we have to travel a 10 round trip just to do everything that we were doing regularly at home here in HER and OUR community. Her grandparents also take her out in Brighton, the same as they used to do here in Swansea, and also with no problems - exactly the same as when she was here. It's unbelievable, and so wrong. Claire, we will keep fighting to get you back she you belong, and if only you had assessments at home and in our community, not just in hospital settings, professionals may have seen the "real, happy Claire " Thank you all.
