Just back from our 2 hour Sunday visit to Claire. We had a lovely time out in the grounds where Jonjo and she were really pleased to see each other, she chatted with us all,did some arts and crafts with Nicola, had a water fight with Andrew, showed us her diary which we suggested she keep, and chatted a lot. She is so desperate to come home, and after finding out yesterday that her section had been renewed in the week, this time for another 12 months, she is very scared, anxious and doesn't know what is going to happen to her. She is missing everything about family life, her community and friends. She has gone from being home here daily, shopping with me, walking the dog daily, trampolining in Cardiff weekly, swimming in the LC2 and with NAS Bridgend, eating out with us, seeing friends, and just being here and able to see Nicola and Andrew daily. Poor Claire is so disappointed to be where she is, and has already missed out on coming to the Swans with us, and attending a friends' birthday party (which we all missed as we were in Brighton with her). She knows it is her grandparents wedding anniversary next Tuesday, and normally joins us all for a meal. It's heartbreaking. She has already told me she is hoping to be home by my birthday next month, and is waiting for Lion King in November, but worried that she will be stopped from that too. We love you Claire, and you know we will never give up the fight to get you home where you belong xxxxx
