Claire has now been in Brighton 12 weeks. During the week of October 6th, she came home on the Monday, was here on Tuesday for my birthday, and left here at lunch time on Wednesday to be back by 7pm. She was fab - exactly the same as before she was sent away. She and her sister had their nails done, met with friends, came shopping, had her hair cut - same as prior to Aug 1st. Last week she was given leave from Wednesday 15th and had 4 nights here - returning by 7pm on the Sunday. She was fab - came shopping, walked the dog around the village, came to see a production of Joseph, met with old and new friends and was SO happy to be here. We left here at 1.15 Sunday afternoon, and got back here at 12.30 on Monday morning - a long, journey. As I am writing this, Claire is on the phone - she has been sleeping all afternoon., BUT.....is so excited as she is coming home tomorrow for a WEEK. Hooray - but it's just as it should be - and was before she was sent away. She is coming on the Paddington to Swansea train, with my mum and dad - both in their 70's, and her sister - and she has a widgit structure that I sent to the ward manager, so that Claire can see exactly what is happening tomorrow.
