Save Balnagask Golf Course and Community Green Space

Save Balnagask Golf Course and Community Green Space
Developers are proposing to industrialise green coastal space, destroy a historic golf course, ruin a wildlife space and community space.
Under the guise of Energy Transition an industrial park would engulf walking paths enjoyed by dog walkers, dolphin watchers, bird watchers and golfers for industrial units.
There is plenty land south of Nigg Bay but costs would be slightly higher than the cheap option of green space.
Please help save green space, protect wildlife, preserve community leisure space by signing the following petition.
Used by walkers, cyclists, golfers and others the Balnagask Peninsula is a land mark green area seen for miles along the coast.
It is too important to be squandered to industrial overdevelopment.
Given a Century or more ago as a Charitable Gift to the Citizens of Aberdeen for leisure purposes, the Aberdeen City Council have a responsibility to protect the Peninsula. That they are entering consultations signals that they are considering the abdication of this commitment.
Let us all remind our Elected Officials that they have a duty to preserve the rights of us citizens. That they must find imaginative alternative sites and leave the Balnagask Peninsula alone. Save Dolphin Watch, Save the Torry Battery, Save Fittroch's Church ruin and Cemetery, Save Community Space and save our Golf Course.
