Thomas Gibson was fired from Criminal Minds due to a creative conflict with the writer Virgil Williams.
We don't have to talk about that it is wrong hurting or kicking at each other. But we all know that this so called kick was an accident as more than one source revealed in an article and in a blog.
But instead of making accountable both what happened and go on - just one person has to pay all and got fired. But not enough: after this you could read a kind of dirt campaign stated against Thomas Gibson.

I think it is enough. It is time to come back to fair play again. So today I want to start a petition that Thomas Gibson has to re-hired again.

And I want to give some very good reasons

- Thomas Gibson is a family man. More than once he thanked CBS for making it possible that he can commute between LA and SA. Family is everything for him. According to his Instagram and Twitter he's very connected to every family member.

- Thomas Gibson is a good colleague. More than once he proofed that he's loyal to his female cast members. As it came to wage negotitations he did step in for Paget an AJ because they earn less than the male cast members. He also did support the writers while they were on strike.

- Thomas Gibson has temper. But in a good way. Let's face it: would Criminal Minds have been the same successfull show without passion and temper? I think: NO. All are working for it, having creative conflicts and trying to make the best of it as possible. Someone who never is ready to fight for dreams or ideas has the wrong job. Only someone who loves the job from the bottom of the heart will do everything to make the show to a successful one.

- Thomas Gibson is one of the two long time male cast members. And that means that he's a kind of red line. Many storylines are centered around his character Aaron Hotchner. After so many years it is not possible to make him vanish as he has never existed. Fans want to see how the storys are going on especially after the finale of season 11. We need Hotch.

-  Thomas Gibson is aware of security on set. Long before the cast and crew started a campaign for more security on set after the tragic death of Sarah Jones, Thomas Gibson almost got a victim of a lack of securty on set, too. Well, he did what everyone would have done in that situation: he got mad - but did not hurt anyong, just got mad and loud. That is not negative -  that's positive. Security at work is important everwhere. That an actor takes care about it is awesome and an example to follow and better than every campaign.

-  Thomas Gibson never did harm the show. There have been some headlines but nothing comparing to that what other actors/actresses are doing and still having a job. None of us is perfect but that makes him so loveable. He one of us: good looking, smart, passionate and some of the little things that makes him a human. We don't want a maching - we want a human. And we love him totally.

- Fans who are awaiting Hotch and that Thomas Gibson will direct one or two episodes again won't watch again. Without Thomas Gibson aka Aaron Hotchner fans are done. A show like Criminal Minds is always more than one cast member but Thomas Gibson is the center and you can't replace a center.

So - stop that shameful campaign - stop that silence and make the one and only right decision: Bring back Thomas Gibson aka Aaron Hotchner to Criminal Minds. Show respect and appreciation to the fans and to Thomas Gibson by doing the right decision: Bring Back Thomas Gibson to Criminal Minds!
