Part of why daytime soap-operas are so cherished, special and unique is because of their storied history that gets passed down from generation to generation. Legacy characters/actors are an integral part of this; they're the connecting glue. Tyler Christopher is one of those actors, as he originated the beloved role of Nikolas Cassadine, a 20 year-figure. His stellar 16-year work garnered multiple Daytime Emmy nominations, and a win for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series this year. He is an undoubtedly an asset to General Hospital, and has shown great appreciation to the dedicated viewers that support it. The hope and goal of this petition is to encourage ABC Network executives that would be involved with General Hospital contracts to reconsider negotiations with Mr. Christopher, resulting in his return to the series.
