At this time students are aware that the campus studio is being shut down for the spring semester because there have not been a lot of students showing up. We believe that this is unfair to the community of talented artists on this campus who are not able to afford to go to an outside studio. Students who pay tuition for the University of Houston should be able to utilize the resources and build these awesome programs. This is a safe and free option for students to take advantage of on campus. As a talented artist of the UH community, we demand that the studio be reopened to work on our craft as arts majors. Music is a huge part of healing and it gives us a break from studying and from our social life. Making music also helps us heal. We also demand that you find other engineers to help run the program for us. We ask that you not take away this opportunity for us to make our art.
