More and more Transit workers are having children being born on the spectrum.  Currently Transit does not offer ABA coverage for services that are needed to care for a child with Autism.  Those that are already dealing with this situation understand how expensive this can get.  ABA helps children on the spectrum learn how to cope with everyday life.  Parents who have a child with Autism know you can't leave your child alone not even for a second.  This service will help in teaching the child what He or She can do if they were ever to become lost or alone, along with learning to be self-reliant.  Join Two Transit Misfits in our fight to amend our current medical contract to include ABA.  If we are successful Transit workers will be able to get the proper care for their child without having to do overtime just to cover the huge cost that comes with the many services needed.   Make no mistake this is an uphill battle, but with our union members united in this cause, we can make a difference in the lives of many current and future members for the better.   Step one is just to simply Sign your name.
