Approximately 74,000 - 100,000 vehicles use the A13 Ripple Road flyover / Blue Light roundabout every single day. TFL are closing this for complete flyover replacement. Not allowing vehicle access will make the lives of Barking & Dagenham residents, London and wider commuters a nightmare.

We've already seen from Gallows Corner how badly planned and managed the replacement of the flyover has been. Severe delays every hour of the day with traffic backed up on quiet side roads becoming the new normal.

It's expected to take 2 years to complete the works, subject to everything being on-time...

We need the following:

1. Clearer defined timescales
2. Reasons why a small flyover will take 2 years to replace  
3. Vehicle access WITHOUT restriction (not buses only)

One common sense suggestion is: Ripple Road to continue into Lodge Avenue (one way) and for the A13 Ripple Road slip road to allow vehicles to keep traffic flowing.

Only by signing this petition, to present to TFL, we'll stand a chance of answers and change prior to works starting.
