The residents of Kingfield village have approached me with a request; that they would like a road sign that defines the boundaries of Kingfield. There is currently a dilapidated and practically invisible sign outside the Church on the High Street at one end of Kingfield Road.

We are requesting residents' support for a Community Infrastructure Levy application that would fund this.

1. Erect a new sign at Kingfield Green on one end of Kingfield Road.

2. Refurbish and paint the existing metal sign on the High Street end of Kingfield Road.

This will not only help smarten the area, it will also help preserve the unique character and identity of one of the three villages that make up the Hoe Valley ward.
