INTRODUCTION

Reading books has been part of each one of us. It serves as the foundation of knowledge, innovation, and growth. Engaging with books strengthens our critical thinking, comprehension, and concentration. Reading offers various advantages to our minds, emotions, and souls. Moreover, studies have shown us that reading can improve our focus, and communication skills. Reading also provides refuge from anxiety and stress. According to statistics, reading for just six minutes can reduce stress level by 68%, which is way more effective than doing other activities such as watching movies, listening to music, and playing online games. 

 

Libraries are defined as places for reading, learning, and exploring. Unfortunately, a community without a library misses opportunities for promoting education, personal development, and social connection. This concept paper aims to promote the importance of having a public library in Tanay, Rizal that has free accessibility to enhance the reading experience of the residents. 

 

PURPOSE

This project aims to provide an Income Generated Project for the establishment of public library in Tanay, Rizal, as a valuable resource for all residents. It will offer a welcoming space for people of all ages to access books, digital resources, and learning materials.

The library will be a quiet place for study and research, supporting students, professionals, and anyone who wants to learn. It will also promote Tanay, Rizal, as a youth-friendly community by providing access to educational resources, creative spaces, and learning opportunities.

This library will contribute to Tanay’s cultural and educational growth, encouraging literacy, learning, and a love of reading for both current and future generations.

 

DESCRIPTION

To begin this project, first, it begins with assessing and identifying areas or vacant lots that are free, visible, and accessible for people anytime. We will collaborate closely and will seek help from the municipal officials for this matter so they can assist us in finding an area or lot and for establishing the public library.

Once the area for establishing the public library is identified, we will seek help for having funds for the materials that will be needed. After the library is built, we will launch a cohesive donation drive for books that will be the primary key for the public library.

Furthermore, for a great project to happen and be successful, we will need sufficient support and resources from all the people who will be willing and glad to help. 

 

SUPPORT

This project has set a goal to raise funds and support for establishing an area and buying of materials, we will also need it for providing books for their use aside from the books that we will get from our Donation Drive. 

That being said, we would like to seek your help. Any amount of donation or any construction materials to be donated will gladly be accepted by us. We would greatly appreciate any contribution you can make to help us acquire the essential materials for our project
