जिस हिमाचल की घाटियों में हम पले-बढ़े, आज वही हमारी पहचान खतरे में है। The Himachal valleys where we grew up, that very identity is now in danger.

मंडी, कुल्लू और शिमला में आई आपदा सिर्फ एक कुदरती कहर नहीं थी। The disaster in Mandi, Kullu, and Shimla was not just a natural calamity.

यह एक चेतावनी थी, उस लापरवाही की जो सालों से हो रही है। It was a warning of the negligence that has been happening for years.

सरकारें विकास के नाम पर हमारी पहाड़ियों को बेदर्दी से काट रही हैं। Governments are mercilessly cutting our hills in the name of development.

यह सिर्फ पर्यावरण का नुकसान नहीं है, यह हमारी संस्कृति और जीवन का भी नुकसान है। This is not just damage to the environment; it is also a loss to our culture and lives.

सरकार की सबसे बड़ी नाकामी यही है कि वह जानती है कि समस्या क्या है, लेकिन फिर भी अपनी आँखें बंद रखे हुए है। The biggest failure of the government is that it knows the problem, but still keeps its eyes shut.

हम अब और चुप नहीं बैठेंगे। We will not remain silent any longer.

यह याचिका हमारी सामूहिक आवाज़ है—एक ऐसी आवाज़, जिसे अब अनसुना नहीं किया जा सकता। This petition is our collective voice—a voice that can no longer be ignored.

एक सुरक्षित और ज़िम्मेदार हिमाचल के लिए हमारी मांगें: Our Demands for a Safe and Responsible Himachal:

हम, इस याचिका पर हस्ताक्षर करने वाले सभी नागरिक, हिमाचल सरकार से तुरंत निम्नलिखित कदम उठाने की मांग करते हैं: We, the citizens signing this petition, demand that the Himachal government immediately take the following steps:

1. हिमाचल के लिए विशेष पर्यावरण और सामाजिक प्रभाव मूल्यांकन (ESIA) को अनिवार्य करो! 1. Make a Special Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) mandatory for Himachal!

यह सरकार की सबसे बड़ी कमी है कि वह हिमाचल की खास बनावट को अनदेखा कर रही है। The government's biggest failure is that it is ignoring the unique structure of Himachal.

हम मांग करते हैं कि सभी बड़े प्रोजेक्ट्स के लिए एक विशेष ESIA लागू किया जाए। We demand that a special ESIA be implemented for all major projects.

इसमें नदियों, पहाड़ियों और भूकंप के खतरे का विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए। This must specifically consider rivers, hills, and seismic risks.

इसमें यह भी जांचा जाए कि प्रोजेक्ट से कितने परिवार विस्थापित होंगे और कितनी रोजी-रोटी छिनेगी। It must also assess how many families will be displaced and how many livelihoods will be lost.

2. पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही तय करो! (सत्याग्रह) 2. Establish Transparency and Accountability! (Satyagrah)

सरकार की जवाबदेही तय करने में कमी है। There is a lack of accountability from the government.

हम मांग करते हैं कि पिछली और चल रही सभी परियोजनाओं की एक स्वतंत्र जांच (ऑडिट) करवाई जाए। We demand an independent audit of all past and ongoing projects.

ऑडिट की रिपोर्ट को सार्वजनिक किया जाए, और लापरवाह लोगों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई हो। The audit report must be made public, and strict action should be taken against negligent individuals.

3. आपदा प्रबंधन को समुदाय-केंद्रित बनाओ! (सर्वोदय) 3. Make Disaster Management Community-Centric! (Sarvodaya)

सरकार का आपदा प्रबंधन केवल हादसे के बाद शुरू होता है। The government's disaster management only begins after a disaster.

हम मांग करते हैं कि "Himachal Resilience Fund" बनाया जाए। We demand the creation of a "Himachal Resilience Fund."

इस फंड से गाँव के लोगों को आपदा प्रबंधन का प्रशिक्षण और ज़रूरी सामान मिले। This fund should be used to train villagers and provide necessary equipment for disaster management.

और आपदा प्रभावित परिवारों को बिना किसी देरी के उचित मुआवजा और पुनर्वास मिले। And that disaster-affected families receive fair compensation and rehabilitation without any delay.

निष्कर्ष: हमारी आवाज़ ही हमारी ताक़त है! Conclusion: Our Voice is Our Strength!
