Friends of Truffles

In the latest nefarious attack against Truffles on the Park - an alleged 'concerned citizen' - a Mrs Ursula Dietla Lichaba (an agent of Francis Chikasha and the mysterious Park Activations), has written a letter to the Gauteng Liquor Board stating as follows:

1 - that the Truffles liquor license has lapsed - AN OUTRIGHT LIE

2 - that the Truffles liquor license has been illegal obtained - AN OUTRIGHT LIE

3 - that the Truffles liquor license is invalid due to the absence of a naturalised lease with JPC - A MALICIOUS PLOY, as she is informed and fully aware that the lease is on contention and has not been finalised due to the administrative delay with JPC since 2019.

FACT: with JPC support, we erected the immovable structure in 2018, and we have been paying rent every month since - to the amount of R1 436 677. Where is the money?

She maliciously states amongst others :"...in addition to the above-mentioned  illegal occupation, have a record of operating in bad faith , defamatory statements against city officials and attempting to illegally eject the black shareholders who introduced them to participate in the Mushroom Farm..."

The honourable Mrs Ursula Dietla Lichaba - a former JHB ward councillor accompanied by the Francis Chikasha attended a mock Liquor Board Hearing...and the liquor board has decided to revoke our license! (see above)

We have immediately launched an appeal. To save Truffles. To save 45 jobs. To stop corruption in our city.

The mind baffles, the Truffles license is suspended and at the same time Park Activations (without paying rent) hosts two major events in the park...selling liquor. How?
