A Step Through A Change (Animal Cruelty)

A Step Through A Change (Animal Cruelty)
The Issue
What is cruelty for those people who abuse innocent animals?
Animal cruelty is a heinous act that can cause considerable harm or even death to helpless animals. When animals are treated with cruelty, neglect, or abuse, they experience the same anguish, pain, and sentiments as humans do. Others abuse for a variety of reasons. Animal maltreatment can appear appealing because it mirrors human interpersonal relationships. Animal cruelty may occur during animal testing when an owner hits or assaults their pet. Some pet owners are oblivious to the fact that they are abusing and neglecting their animals. In most cases though, owners are purposefully torturing and starving their animals.
Moreover, owners and non-owners of animals harm over 7.6 million animals each year. Animal abuse happens year around and the only way everyone can stop it it stand up together and fight.
It is our responsibility to raise awareness and assist animals.
All living beings have the right to exist on our planet, but because animals cannot communicate in human language, we grow insensitive to their suffering. Animals play an important role in human existence, whether at home, on a farm, or at the dinner table. They're buddies, a great source of entertainment, and a source of income, yet society faces legal, economic, and ethical quandaries about where each animal belongs. Interacting with animals has been demonstrated to lower blood pressure and lessen cortisol "a stress-related hormone". Animals have been shown in other research to alleviate loneliness, increase emotions of social support, and improve happiness. There seems to be an ecological balance between all animals in nature. Some animals help to bring out the nutrients from the cycle while others help in decomposition, carbon, and nitrogen cycle. Furthermore, scientists have learned a lot about our own bodies and how our bodies faction by studying other animals in the nature.
We must take a step and put an end to animal abuse. Of course, the best way to fight this cruelty is to teach as many people as possible how their pets should be treated and what they should never ever do. Parents and educators should teach children how to safely and humanely interact with animals at an early age, as well as how they can tell if an animal is being harmed and what to do about it. We can help spread the word by utilizing our own community to do so. We can share messages about proper treatment of animals on our community by making flyers or posting infographics on our social networks. People need to stand up for what they believe in when they witness animal cruelty and take a stand by reporting the behavior. The more often that abusive individuals are punished, the less likely others are to do the same thing.
In the Republic of the Philippines, there is an Act to protect and promote the welfare of all animals in the Philippines by supervising and regulating the establishment and operations of all facilities utilized for breeding, maintaining, keeping, treating or training of all animals either as objects of trade or as household pets. Likewise more people start to speak out about animal abuse, there will be more laws to protect the animals.
Nothing beats the feeling of coming home to a faithful partner. A pet's unconditional love can do more than just keep you company. Pets can also aid children with their emotional and social skills, as well as reduce stress and promote heart health.
But always remember that animals can feel stressed and fatigued, too. It’s important for kids to be able to recognize signs of stress in their pet and know when not to approach.
Animals and humans may come in many different sizes and colors, but we all have the same loving heart and soul.
