Operation Wanni is an upcoming First Person Shooter​ Videogame developed by an independent group of game developers in Sri Lanka. The video game is based on the final phases of the military offensive of the Sri Lankan Military, more particularly its Special Operations Forces, against the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam(LTTE), during the final years of the nation's 26-year old civil war.

Currently, the game's development has been halted due to legal issues pertaining to its inclusion of the insignia of the LTTE. The developers, who remain anonymous at the time of publish of this article, via social media, have stated that its inclusion of the insignia of the LTTE had caused them many legal complications, and they have received certain requests demanding them to stop the development of the game due to the aforementioned reason.

This petition is made to bring the kind attention of certain officials of the Ministry Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure, who're responsible for, and whose roles include making decisions on matters of this nature, for a decision in favor of the re-enabling of the game's development with less or no legal restrictions.
