Dear supporters,

We are so grateful for you joining our cause for dialogue about our beloved city and the siting of such an important facility as the DFPD. The response - almost 600 signatures at this writing (2pm, 12/7) is overwhelming. 

We hope to keep up the momentum and to ask you to help spread the word, among other things, by continuing to share via email and social media.

Also, please consider participating in tonight's City Council Meeting, in person or via Zoom (http://durangogov.org/zoom It's the only meeting of the month and important for Councilors to hear your concerns. 

The public participation format is right at the beginning and structured such that you have 3 minutes to speak or ask questions. Though, Council only listens and does not respond.

This is a problem in itself and why we are asking for a Public Forum. We have NO IDEA, except through various individual email responses and study sessions, what they are thinking, and certainly not as a coordinated body. 

The other ask is for your help! This group is stretched thin. If you have any interest in lending a hand to our efforts - mostly in helping to get the word out via a variety of platforms - we'd love to hear from you. There are other needs, too, but send an email and we'll follow up.
