On Oct. 17, at 5:30 p.m. at Town Hall, the Southeast Tennessee Development District will review the proposed zoning amendments to the new TC-MU zone during a public workshop. A vote will follow at 6:30 p.m. during the regularly scheduled Walden Board of Mayor and Alderman meeting, also held at Town Hall.
As a supporter of the Walden View development, we highly encourage you to attend the public workshop and the meeting that will follow. Please be prepared to vocally support the adoption of the TC-MU zone as was recommended by the Walden Planning Commission.
While this meeting and vote are not specifically about the Walden View development, the passing of the new zoning is incredibly impactful to any future development success in and around Walden’s town center.
