The unlicensed driver who killed an innocent person took their mobile phones and left them to die so that they could not call for help. This is murder. This hurts my conscience. They are laughing and having fun in America right now.
Eylem Tok gave her unlicensed 17-year-old son a luxury car, who then crashed into a group standing in the emergency lane in Istanbul, causing the death of one person and injuring four others. Following this horrific incident, arrest warrants have been issued in Turkey for both her son and herself.
Currently, Eylem Tok and her son, Timur, are reportedly roaming freely on the streets of the USA with no regard for their actions or their consequences back home. The family of the 30-year-old Turkish citizen who lost his life is awaiting justice from US authorities.
According to statistics from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death among those aged 1-54 in the U.S., highlighting how serious this issue truly is (source: CDC). We cannot let such reckless behavior go unpunished - it sets a dangerous precedent that undermines road safety regulations.
We urge US authorities to cooperate with Turkish officials to ensure justice prevails. No one should be allowed to escape accountability because they can afford luxury cars or international flights.
