Yesterday, I officially emailed the Mayor and the entire Kingman City Council about our petition for Child Safety Zones to protect our parks, libraries, pools, and school bus stops. In that email, I: • Explained that Kingman currently has no child safety zone ordinances • Asked the City to adopt Mohave County’s updated ordinances as our own • Shared that residents are signing and supporting this petition because we are concerned about the safety of our children and families • Emphasized that this is not political – it’s about protecting kids and supporting law enforcement with better tools This is an important step forward, and I want to say thank you to everyone who has signed and shared so far. 💛 Your signatures show our leaders that the community is paying attention and that this issue matters. 👉 Next Steps: • I will follow up with City Council and share any responses I receive. • I will also continue gathering signatures and community support. • Please keep sharing this petition with friends, family, and local groups in Kingman.
