Petition updateA Modern and Perfectible Constitution for Canada

Will our country remain the last colony in the world?

According to our politicians, the amendment of the Canadian Constitution is a complex process, often requiring a broad consensus between the provinces and the federal government, so something almost impossible to do.  Consequently they do not waste their time with it.

For how long? This legislature? The next one too? Maybe a century?  Why not a millennium? The majority of countries in the world managed to do this thing in one, or two years of the same legislature.

But our nomenclature desires and accepts that our country remains the last colony in the world, the only country where, for example, multinationals do not pay quantitative royalties on extracted natural resources.

(To see also   https://chng.it/d6TyYxXrFD   ).

But do Canadians like this situation? Are they consulted on this subject? Maybe now is the time to ask our cautious politicians to put in public discussion the really important problems for our society.

I warmly thank you for your support and help in spreading these petitions on social media where I have difficulties accessing at the moment.

Sincerely yours,

Constantin Potlog
