Key issues were not discussed pending the recent federal election campaign.

      The issues contained in the petition, while very important to our society, were not discussed during the recent federal election campaign. Once again, our politicians have preferred to debate on everyday things, mostly superficial, instead of focusing on the fundamental issues that could really perfect how to approach positive change in Canada at a time when the world is moving.

      I would also like to highlight a second issue that is missing from the current political discourse, namely the introduction of quantitative royalties on all natural resources exploited in Canada. At present the tax laws are based on the taxation of the revenues of mining companies which melt in the sun various tax deductions up to 100% of exploration expenses.  To avoid this situation of reduced taxation and also the possible corruption linked to the process, I have also launched a petition  https://chng.it/d6TyYxXrFD       

       Perhaps now is the time to bring them into public discussion, to draw the attention of our cautious politicians to the really important issues for our society.
