As you all know, Hinduism is one of the most ancient civilizations on this planet.  And, we believe that the "World is One Family" (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam), just as we believe in the peaceful co-existence of all forms of life.  

Now, we started this petition to STOP any business entities or individuals from using the word "Hindu" as a prefix to meals (example: "Hindu Meals") and serve non-veg foods (meat, fish, shellfish, eggs, etc.) with the meal. This is absolutely wrong, prohibited and adharmic. This has to stop!

One point to note here is that we are not telling anyone what to eat and what not to eat. What we are requesting all concerned parties to do is please DO NOT  use the word "Hindu" with any types of meals and serve non-veg foods with it.

Hinduism and our Shastras prescribed a strict vegetarian diet for It's followers. And, thousands of Hindus and non-Hindus, for that matter, live on a strict vegetarian diet very contentedly and healthily. 

Please sign this petition and share it with other like-minded Hindus/individuals so we can have the airlines and any other concerned parties to STOP using the phase "Hindu Meals" on their menu. Airlines/restaurants, etc. can opt for the phase "Vegan Meal" -- this Hindus and others who practice vegetarianism can eat.
