A Global Humanitarian Challenge for the Children & the Wounded of Gaza

The Issue

As a humanitarian, the plight of the children in Gaza profoundly moves me.

For 135 days now, we have witnessed an escalating genocide in this region. The Israeli military has targeted multiple hospitals and healthcare facilities, rendering them inoperable and cutting off oxygen supply to Intensive Care Units and baby incubators. This has resulted in patients suffering slow, painful deaths on their hospital beds after doctors and nurses were arrested and tortured.

The death toll is staggering:

More than 29,092 people have been reported killed, with many still unaccounted for under the rubble.

More than 13,000 children have lost their young lives.  Thousands more who survived the bombing have had their lives altered abruptly in profound ways due to disabling wounds, chemical burns, and disabilities in the course of what the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the UN World Court at the Hague  in Switzerland, referred to on January 26, 2024, in the case of South Africa vs. Israel, as "plausible genocide."

This petition calls upon all persons, such as artists with diverse talents, musicians and singers/songwriters, poets, comedians, academics, historians, entertainment personalities, politicians, public personalities, and influencers to join this effort. We also call upon global leaders and business executives to contribute to this humanitarian initiative aimed at providing immediate relief to these innocent children caught up in a war they did not start nor ask for.

We need urgent intervention to restore fundamental human rights like access to healthcare services that are currently being denied due to the ongoing conflict.

We cannot stand idle while such atrocities continue unabated; it's time we stand up for humanity's most vulnerable – our children. Please sign this petition today; let's unite our voices against injustice toward innocent lives trapped within Gaza's borders.
