I'm certain that many of you are equally as upset by the recent TMZ clip released of the German Shepherd, frightened beyond measure, is being FORCED into churning water by it's TRUSTED trainer, for a scene in this film. After several attempts to avoid being thrown into the unknown abyss of that churning mess the dog is shown going under before they call for filming to cut.

I thought as a society, most of us with an ounce of intelligence, had progressed past the cruel treatment of animals. The very disheartening fact that we must face, is that the "money shot" takes precedence over humanity in part of this film.

Like many of you, I've been extremely anxious to see this film that is set to tug at the heartstrings of all dog lovers. I will find it extremely difficult to part with my money to see a film that I now know failed to honor the feelings of an animal that took part in it's filming.

I truly feel that the ONLY WAY for Amblin Entertainment, Amblin Partners, Walden Media, Pariah, and DreamWorks Pictures can possibly expect to redeem themselves in even a small way is to offer a public apology, as well as to DONATE HUGE AMOUNTS OF THEIR PROFITS to animal welfare groups, rescues, shelters, etc. across the country with a public accounting available of those donations made. Please join me in demanding that this happen.

WE WILL BE THEIR VOICE! WE WILL CONTINUE TO RIGHT THE WRONGS AGAINST THEM! AND WE DEMAND THAT THIS HAPPEN FOR THIS FILM!
