Pakistan has decided to downgrade relations with India. It's a good move but quite late. Pakistan's hit back using bilateral trade is described here

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/07/world/asia/pakistan-kashmir-india.html

We ask ourselves, what was Pakistan doing trading with India in the first place. That too while people in Kashmir were being executed by India. I've talked about trade sanctions for years and through many updates here.

The legal options for Pakistan and Kashmir are discussed here. The International Court of Justice seems their primary option. I doubt Pakistan will make the move even though the UNHRC Report supports self determination for Kashmir.

So again, what was Pakistan doing since 2016? Eating biriyani? Clearly so.

India will scoff at these actions but at least Pakistan is making a move. It's also shut off its airspace. What was it doing open in the first place? More foolish decisions like supporting India's Yoga Day and non permanent UNSC seat and we may have lost faith in everything that's Pakistani.

Pakistan is very late in all its doing but I suppose it's better than doing nothing.
