Since the independence of India, there has been a strong domination by the people above the Karnataka-Telangana-Andhra Pradesh line in the country. The South Indians till today witness unfair systems such as the imposition of Hindi, the unfair tax return policy of the center government, along with the rise of non-Dravidian speakers in South Indian states. Also, there has been a lack of representation of South Indians within the Indian parliament. We the people of the Dravidian speaking lands fear that our cultural representation has not been global due to how we are still under a country dominated by the non-southerners. Our culture, food, language has often been misidentified by foreigners with being North-Indian, despite our differences in almost every aspect.
