This petition raises concern regarding the circumstances surrounding the removal of Coach McBride and the process by which this decision was made.

At one point, a player was removed from the team as a disciplinary action. Following this removal, the player raised a complaint to the school principal. Afterward, Coach McBride was asked to reinstate the player, and the player was returned to the team. Despite complying with this request, Coach McBride was later removed from her position.

This sequence of events has caused concern among students and parents, as it appears that Coach McBride was ultimately punished for enforcing team expectations and attempting to discipline a student appropriately. When coaches are not supported in maintaining standards of conduct, it undermines their authority and the structure necessary for a positive and respectful team environment.

Additionally, this decision was made without sufficient communication or input from the students, parents, or community members most directly affected. Many stakeholders were not given the opportunity to share their perspectives or experiences prior to the action being taken.

This issue highlights the need for clear policies, consistent disciplinary procedures, and fair treatment of staff who are acting in the best interest of students. We respectfully request a transparent review of this decision, including consideration of student and parent feedback, and clarification of the disciplinary process that was followed.
