As a lifelong resident and passionate skier, I have seen the Blue Knob Ski Resort thrive under different ownership. This mountain, the highest skiable mountain in Pennsylvania, is more than just a tourist spot; it's our home. However, under the current management, our beloved mountain is not reaching its full potential.

The current owners are driving away both businesses and locals. The once vibrant community around the resort is dwindling as people sell their homes on the mountain and move away. This shift has not only affected our local economy but also eroded the unique culture that made Blue Knob special.

Statistics show that ski resorts play an integral role in local economies by providing jobs and attracting tourists who spend money at local businesses (source: National Ski Areas Association). If managed properly, Blue Knob could contribute significantly to our community's economic growth while preserving its natural beauty for future generations to enjoy. 

We call upon relevant authorities to intervene and facilitate a change in ownership of Blue Knob Ski Resort. Only then can we restore this iconic landmark to its former glory while ensuring sustainable development for our community.
