This disparity not only undermines the principles of gender equality but also places more than 230,000 female athletes, competing across 31 NCAA sports, at a significant disadvantage. Female athletes' economic value peaks during college as they have far fewer opportunities to play professional sports after graduation.

We urge federal legislators to ensure transparency in NIL transactions, which will aid in the equitable distribution of compensation. They must take action to help female athletes receive their fair share, reflecting their contribution to college sports and protecting them from financial exploitation.
