Year after year we see shelters at high capacity, pleading with the public for aid. Our politicians are the ones we should be addressing.

 The ones that have animal welfare in mind, should be the ones that get backed by a vote in our future. Those individuals should be identified and the animal welfare cause, the forefront of their campaign! 

Important notes: 

The most prominent city in the RGV does NOT have its own animal welfare facility. 

The most prominent city in the RGV ships its unwanted animals to a PRIVATE organization in the City of Edinburg. 

McAllen does not even house its unwanted animals! 

Needed not only to set an example for other RGV Cities, which I believe you can do, but to do YOUR part and not brushing your duties to neighboring cities!
