Traffic is using the residential roads south of Storrington High St as a rat run during busy periods. This traffic is doing so at unacceptable speeds.

The roads in question are largely single lanes and without pavements. Fast traffic presents a lethal hazard to pedestrians, cyclists and horseriders.

Many of the residents of these roads now avoid walking on them at peak periods and consider it an accident waiting to happen.

A 20mph speed limit would be more appropriate for these shared spaces and would deter through traffic.
