The manga series Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, loved by loyal fans and the anime community was published from 2009-2017. However, there has not been an adaptation of the books into anime since 2013. Yes, Netflix created a one-season spin-off of The Adventures of Sinbad, but even that has a season 2 which will never arrive. It is not like there is a lack of source material to adapt for future seasons. The anime has only done 10 out of 14 arcs, later arcs being longer than earlier ones, which means that animators could quickly get two or more seasons out of the remaining source material. 

For seven years, fans anime and dedicated fans to the Magi franchise have been questioning and hoping for a season 3. The material is available, the contacts would be theoretically easy to resume, and there is an audience ready and available to purchase and consume the entertainment.
