The Wheat Ridge Viking 6th grade football team has been suspended for a year by The Jefferson Youth Football Association (JYFA) without cause! We are the only majority minority football team in the league! They will not meet with our chapter president or our head coach to discuss their reasoning. There was no violence, no fowl language or anything out of the ordinary at our game/s. We have reason to believe that the league is biased, and they are acting out of hate. JYFA continues to break their own rules and rewrite them to fit their narrative. Enough is enough! 26 football players are left confused, belittled and degraded; and they did absolutely nothing wrong!
