Handing over your belongings and still being shot at … this is madness. New Orleans citizens are under siege and one way to act immediately is to draw on more policing presence. Bringing in the La National Guard to beef up policing - we are still 500 officers short - and partner with experienced NOPD officers IS a practical solution for every citizen’s  short term safety.

Meanwhile , while our NOPD leadership is still working on a plan (insert crickets chirping…)  New Orleanians  can’t even walk down the street in the early evening in their own neighborhood without fear of getting robbed or shot at. 

This is unacceptable especially when the solution is right around the corner - literally - Did you know one central location for the LANG is on St Claude at Jackson Barracks? Help is right in our backyard.

It would mean so much if you could take a moment and  ask one or two friends and a few neighbors to sign on to our petition. Our solution very well can save lives
